can anyone help me out...my wife's still waiting for her PR and was given an open-work permit which expired in the month of nov'10 bcoz her passport was valid only until such date...and cic requested her to send a photocopy of her new passport which she did..now they told her to send an application if she dont get a PR when the expiry comes.. and she's still waiting for her PR...so now she's trying to send an application via online...my questions is..is this reliable? would this affect her PR application and working status in canada? regarding her PR- Ecas status says that "a decision has been and she will be contacted" and an update which says that "we received the needed requirement in oct 12" and she already had her medical exam when she got her open-permit...hope you can share some infos...thankz
