I took ielts general test result October 2013. That is accept for the citizenship? And I have original result sheet right now. Thank you
From the guide,

If you did the test in the past for immigration or citizenship purposes, we will accept the results even if it has expired.

Examples of third-party tests include:
  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS), general training, not the academic version You must have a score of:
    • 4.0 or higher in speaking and
    • 4.5 or higher in listening. (Note: If the test was done before November 28, 2008, we will accept a level 4 or higher)

Just to emphasize, as razerblade pointed out, you must have the general IELTS. So in case you have the academic one, it will not be accepted. Just yesterday, someone in the forum reported that their application was returned because they submitted the academic one.

Apart from that, see razerblades post above.

At the time of test day or interview does officer ask for original ielts result ?

As above note,My result is not valid?
That note simply applies to the minimum acceptable score. For tests done before Nov 28, 2008, they will accept a score of 4.0 or more for both listening and speaking. For tests done after that date, they want 4.0 or more in speaking and 4.5 in listening.

You can use your IELTS results for citizenship as long as your score is 4.0 in speaking and 4.5 in listening.

Hi everyone,
Please help me to clarify on thing. I have read in many forums that expired Ielts language certificate is accepted to apply for Canadian citizenship only when the same certificate was used when applied for Canadian immigration. So, if i didn’t use my Ielts certificate ( I did it in 2013 for something else) during my immigration process, because my wife was the main applicant in Express Entry program, her certificate was enough, can I still use it for the citizenship application?

If you didn't use it during your PR application, it will not be accepted. You may want to consider taking CELPIP locally.
