expired copr, reenter canada

HI all

Needed some info, we did soft landing in the month of october 2017 for about 10 days and were back ,
planned to move may 2018, i got my pr card( at friends address) but photo request was asked for my husband and my son about a month ago and we sent them photos immediately, waiting for response but nothing so far.

we have valid US visa, were planning to enter Canada by road with copr and passport ( in case if my husband and sons pr cards dont arrive on time) . Also , as we checked the copr validity shows upto 2018/2/22 ( says valid upto 2nd feb of 2018!!)
can we travel with a copr beyond its validity date??
Also how much time does it take for cic to respond after resending pics for pr card

The validity listed on the CoPR tells you until which date you can do your landing.

Once you complete your landing the CoPR never expires; it's valid for life.

You will be good to enter Canada with your CoPR.
