Expired Biometrics letter :( HELP

Help please! As I was cleaning my emails and junk mails I saw letter from IRCC one of it was a request for biometrics and it has been 4 months. I'm so pissed at myself for not seeing it sooner! What can I do at this point? I have been waiting for my application to progress When I check the status it says still in progress. Advice please!

Send a very polite apology letter via the web form. I had a similar issue with a malfunctioning spam filter and my medical and it was reset and resent.
