I'm a student at Waterloo university since August 2012 and a PR card holder since July 2008. I was in Canada for only 150 days with my family. I returned back to Canada alone. Now my PR card is expired, and maybe not possible to renew it as I didn't meet the residency obligation so far. However, I need to travel urgently to Jerusalem for 2 weeks and return back. What are the possibilities? Thank you.

If it is urgent then you can fly to US on the way back and drive from US to Canada. For that you don't need a PR card. You will need your landing document. Then, it will be up to the CBSA officer to admit you or not based on your residency obligations....

You are free to travel but your return to Canada is subject to the immigration law with respect to residency obligation. You need to weigh the importance of travel against the very real risk of being reported. 150 days isn't going to pass if you get reported and this lands before the courts...how old are you now, how old when you landed and why the lengthy absence?

Last line: Do not travel otherwise you possibly have to say good bye to Canada.
