As per latest updated university checklist..they simply mentioned the below lines....

"As an alternate option, you can fulfill the financial requirement by submitting a copy of the receipt for your tuition fee) AND a copy of an Educational Loan from an Indian Chartered Bank equivalent to $10 000 CAD. See information on the following page for the list of acceptable banks."

my first year fee is 13,860$...but I paid 8000$ and need to pay 1260$ more to meet atleast the pre-payment of first term..

so. my doubt is,

1. should I need to pay the whole 1st year fee to apply visa under univ chklist or the above paid $ figure is enough..! OR I just need to pay atleast first term fee fully before application?

2.DO i need to add more docx that was not mentioned in the checklist like pay slips,IT REturns, experience letter because they mentioned tuition fee and 1 year living expense in the form of GIc or else loan..I have loan for 10 lakhs in hand..

3.more over, should i need to show source of funds for my 2nd year tuition fee? (not mentioned in checklist, but i saw here in a post once)

help me guys..need ur views..It will help many more students in this forum

Hi,

As per Univ. checklist:
http://www.vfs-canada.co.in/pdf/Delhi_study_permit_eng.pdf

you can fulfill the financial requirement by submitting a copy of the receipt for your tuition fee AND a copy of an Educational Loan from an Indian Chartered Bank equivalent to $10 000 CAD. See information on the following page for the list of acceptable banks.

Pre-payment of first term = Pre-payment of 1st semester fees.. that's usually HALF of 1st year fees...and since your annual tuition fees is 13,860$.. you have already paid more than the 1st term fees.

1. They have not mentioned, provide 1st term tuition receipts or 1st year tuition receipts. They 've just mentioned -a copy of the receipt for your tuition fee.
It's best if you pay in advance the full 1st year tuition fees of 13,860$ (i.e 5,860$ more). But, I think... 8,000$ will also do... since it's easily covering 1st semester/term tuition fees. And show a loan or GIC of 10,000$ for 1st year living expenses.

2. It's always better if you attach few extra documents like - short original 1-1.5 page SOP(mentioning how and why that particular course will be useful for you in long run via-a-vis your background), IT returns, work ex. letters and if possible property evaluation and/or IT return of parents(if they are sponsoring you).

3. Not required. Only evidence of funds for total 1st year tuition fees+10,000$ living expenses is required.

Best of Luck.

Is it necessary/complusory to show Bank Loan or GIC of $10k under University Category??
Can a simple bank deposit of the same amount, proved via bank statements be shown instead?

Hi,

Yes it is compulsory. It very clearly mentioned on the checklist that: it is imperative for citizens of India, applying under University category to show evidence of 10,000$ for living expenses- either in the form of GIC or an educational loan from one of the listed recognized banks on the checklist.
