i have 12 months of skilled work experience now (not continuos ) with NOC B
i have open work permit (postgrad for 3 years )
9month of experience with canadian employer
and remaining 3months to present exp from a USA employer with the client in CANADA (offer is temp full-time job for 1 year)
for the above i am getting paid through ADP CANADA (proper tax deduction done)

will this be an issue. since my actual employer is in canada . my only way is CEC as i don't have 1 year continuos exp in canada to qualify under FSW

i don't have LMIA and PNP

please advice
is the reference letter(for that US employer ) saying that i work for their client in Canada with name of the candian compan and address of canadian company + (duties, pay etc) enough?

Hi,

I don't know how the points are calculated by the US employers but so far ( as far as I've seen), if you can get the highest points for age ( i think under 30), and have atleast 2 years Canadian work experience, you can reach the cutoff point of over 450.

However if you can make those points up in other ways, education etc. you can probably make the cut.

Having said that, if you can apply using your client's address and show that you're paying tax in canada. That should be enough, but I'm not a lawyer, so don't quote me on it.

My point is that, from my experience, 1 year work experience is not enough.
