Hi so I have a degree from Canada and my work experience (non-Canadian) is almost 3 years. It is somewhat 2 years 11 months so far . I created my Express entry profile and submitted it but i got a message saying I am not eligible. I wonder if that could have been the problem because the minimum requirement is 3 years.

I have recently joined a company and I have mentioned that in the profile (I have stated that it is my current job). So should i recreate a express entry profile or would it stay in the pool and automatically become eligible once my experience touches the 3 year mark (which happens in a few weeks)?

I am panicking.

No, that is not a requirement. Sounds like you need to learn a bit more about the program so that you might understand whether you are eligible, or whether you made some error in your profile.

Review the program requirements for the FSW program -

No, if you have submitted a profile that was found ineligible, you are not in the pool. You should first figure out your eligibility, then if you are eligible, you have to create a new profile.

No, 3 year isn't the minimum. 1 year is the minimum for both CEC and FSW. But the difference is CEC requires 1 year of working experience in CANADA, where FSW requires 1 year working anywhere. In your case, you aren't eligible for CEC since you do not have at least 1 year of working experience in CANADA. You might be able to apply under FSW, but depends on your situation.

How much did you enter when the system asked you about the fund? You must have a fund of at least $12,300 for 1 person apply; $15,312 for 2. You might have entered the fund amount less than required. The system will tell you aren't eligible if you didn't meet the minimum fund requirement. This is the reason I assume could potentially be.

your profile won't stay in the pool since you aren't eligible for EE. So I suggest you withdraw your profile and create a new one with all updated details including the funds.
