Experience required for Canada express entry

Hi,

Please advice me.

I have 6 months experience in a company and 2.5 years in another one, under same NOC.I am confused whether my experience will be calculated as total 3 yrs or as the first one is only for 6 months,will it be considered as 2.5 yrs.

Please help me.
