Experience of sending Passport to Ottawa for STamping

Hello Friends,

This is regarding my wife's Sponsorship application. My wife received remedical request on 25th Jan, 2016.

Here is our timeline

App received : 25th March, 2015
SA approved : 1st May, 2015
AOR 2: 2nd June, 2015
Meds : Nov 23rd, 2014
Remeds request : 25th Jan, 2016

My Wife is here with me in Canada on a TRV which will expire 31st May, 2016. So, I am planning to send her passport to Ottawa.
I've seen a sample PPR request saying Ottawa would need atleast 3 months to stamp the passport.

Wondering if anyone had any experience in sending their passport to Ottawa for stamping?!

Im exactly in the similar state. My wife is here with me on Tourist visa. I have sent the passport on 25th Jan . what i hear is u will get it back in 1 to 3 weeks, My visa office is new delhi. But we sent it to ottawa

Thank you Aravind for your response. My Visa office is New-delhi as well. I haven't received the passport request yet but, I hope I will get it in couple of weeks. Could you please let me know once you receive your passport back from ottawa... Thanks again for responding to this message!

Does anyone know how long does it take to receive the passport back after sending the Passport to Ottawa for PR Visa stamping?

It's about 3 weeks, not including delivery time. Make sure you include the return Xpresspost envelope to your current address or they will send it regular post.
