I have a son who will be giving his grade 11 'O' level exams in May 2013. He is currently 16 years + 5 months old. I will be moving to Canada with him in July 2013. At the time of school year start in September 2013 in Canada he will be 16 year + 11 months old.
I would like to learn from immigrant parents who had moved to Canada with a child who had given his/her 'O' level/GCSE exams (in grade 11) then which class was the child admitted into Canadian school?
I would be grateful if someone can tell me from their experience if my son will be placed in 11 grade or 12 grade.
