Hi,
I am having total of 10 years working experience working with 6 employers.
My last 2 jobs falls in NOC category and previous all jobs are not in NOC list of 28 occupations.

As per the CIC checklist it is required to provide reference letter for employments, but I am not able to get experience/reference letters for 3 of my non-NOC jobs. I have already written twice to the HR dept of these companies, but only one of them have responded, that too with the letter mentioning the period of employment and designation.

As for NOC jobs, I have my got the reference letters, but not having reference/experience letter for 3 of previous non-NOC jobs. I have appointment letters, form 16 for all of my job assignments except one.

If I attach this instead of reference letter for this jobs, will visa officer consider this?
Pls help.

Submit whatever documents you have and whatever you can provide. Write a detailed letter to the VO for the documents unavailable, it should work no big deal.

Here is what you should do.

1- Ask them all in writing what you need..
2- If they provide you with referral letter which have your JDs, salary details, employment time frame details than well and good.
3- otherwise ask them to give in writing why they cant.
4- get prinouts of these emails or letters and attach in your file and explain through cover letter.

you should send as many docs relevant to your work details in all jobs especially the one s which make yoy eligible and give you enough points ot be clear of 67 points. payslips, supervisor`s business cards, contract/job offer/appointment letters, any work related docs you have saved from your jobs e;g appreciation emails from your boss. email should be sent from official email id (company email)....

be creative ;D

Hi haral,
I am applying for the points for my last two jobs and for this jobs I am having all these documents which you mentioned about the jobs making me eligible for the points.

My concern is that I am not having the relieving letters/reference letters for my previous jobs. This jobs will not count towards my points, but as mentioned in the CIO Checklist, it is to be submitted.

I have sent them written request by courier for the reference letters as I am not having e-mail address (as I was employed in the jobs before 5 to 8 years from now). But I got the reference letter from only one employer. He too just mentioned my period of employment and designation only in the reference letter. Nothing more.

Now, if I am unable to get the letters for this jobs, will a written explanation be sufficient for visa officer?

than the matter is trivial.. not having them wont affect your points as per your explaination.. yes you can explain it in your cover letter why you could nt submit reference letters and what docs you have to prove you worked in those jobs..
