hey guys I got experience letter in following format from my employer, is this gona work??
as I am copier technician my noc code is 2242.

This letter confirms the full time employment of Mr.------ who worked for KMBS (Canada) Ltd., as a Field Service Technician from Jan 2, 2012 to Dec 30, 2012.


Mr.-- earned a gross salary of $00,000.00 per annum, based on a 37.5 hour work week. This amount excludes overtime and vehicle allowance.


His major job duties are:

* Repair photocopiers, copiers at the site location which includes complex disassembly, cleaning, and replacement of individual parts, reassembly, testing and adjustment within assigned territory.

* Troubleshoot equipment to determine the cause of malfunctions. Estimate parts and labor for repair. Research the current cost of replacement equipment and recommends repair or replacement of the equipment.

* Set-up and install equipment, both in-house and at customer sites.

* Update new firmware on customer's equipment as needed

* Maintains tool kit, supplies, and accurate inventory for assigned territory.

* Complete all service reports correctly and on time

* Must follow the policies and procedures set forth by company

It looks fine. For the sake of being picky, tho, I want to ask about the dates: Jan 2, 2012 to Dec 30, 2012.

Why cut it so close? Are you still employed there? Remember, 1 year is a MINIMUM (not a maximum). I think it would look a lot better to have a date like "the present" (January 25th... ) if you are still employed...

Hello Guys I have a different situation. I am a part time employee but worked more than 30 hrs per week. My company gave me letter stating my employment date January 4th. they have written how many hours I have worked in 2012 i.e. 1680.5. I m still employed there. is it going to work or it has to be specific 30 hrs per week.

Well, if you work more than 30 hours per week, by CIC's definition (regardless of your employer's definition), it will be counted as full time.

But yes, the letter has to say how many hours PER WEEK. If it varies from week to week, that's OK, you can state "on average, he works XX hours per week."

No I do not work for that company anymore but my current job is similar its field service technician. its same stuff but different company I will get letter from my current company as well.
