I have been an employee with this company for 1 year and 2 months. Lately, i have been interviewing with couple of companies for higher position, same NOC(Software engineer). One of the companies, wanted me to get reference letter as they want for all applicants before they hire someone.
But, with the current company, they don't give reference letter, unless someone is about the leave the company, not while working still with it.
And i am not sure if i leave the this company and be hired from other, there is not guarantee.
And for that i will have a gap between jobs.
I want to have at least 3 years Continues working experience with a company, get a reference letter, get a new Job and apply for express entry.
I am not sure if a gap is acceptable at all:?
