Hi All,
Applying under CEC - Foreign Graduate.
Graduated in Dec 2010.
Started full-time skilled work on Jan 10, 2011 with off-campus work permit while Post-Grad work permit (PGWP) in process.
Attained PGWP on March 1, 2011.
Would I be eligible to apply under CEC on Jan 10, 2012 or March 1, 2012?
OP 25 (page 19) clearly states experience needs to be after graduation and not on off-campus work permit.
OP 25 (page 25, fictional case 2) states: "Eligible work experience under the Post-Graduation Stream of the CEC must occur after graduation. Work performed on an OffCampus Work Permit (during studies) does not count under the CEC."
From page 25 it seems that when they say experience not attained on off-campus work permit, it means it shouldn't be during studies.
Thus, I think it is reasonable to assume that as my experience started after graduation and while PGWP was in process, I can apply under CEC on Jan 10, 2012.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks
