Expat in Dubai - Home Country Police Certificate (PAKISTAN)

Hi

I need advice/help from anyone can tell me whether i need to get police certificate from my home country (Pakistan) considering that fact that i have never stayed there more than 3 months in any particular visit and the last time i went there was in December 2015 for couple of weeks.

I have lived all my life here in Dubai and wanted to know if i need a police certificate from Pakistan

Yes you need. You have never stayed more than 3 months in one go, how about cumulatively??

Anywhere you have stayed for more 180 days, you need PCC. Practically its not possible having not spent 180 days in life in the countey of origin.

One more suggestion, this is very basic question. Am sure there'll be many more questions in your mind as I can see you are a newbie. Suggest you do a bit of research and you are not required to start new topic..

Thanks for your help and apologies, i couldn't find anything hence started a new topic. Is it possible to get one from the Pakistan Consulate here in dubai? tried calling them but no one picks up.

Well the simple answer is NO.

Not sure if they take direct request for PCC in Dubai or not, even if they take, that will take you ages to obatin one. The alternative solutions are visit Pakistan if you can and obtain - am not a pragmatic approach. The goverment policy is to provide PCC to person if applied in person by the applicant himself.

Another way is, type an authorisation letter on plain paper and mention you need PCC from Pakistan and get that letter attested from Pakistani Consulate - you'll have to visit them personally else wont be possible. In this letter you'll authotise any friend/relative of yours to apply and collect PCC on your behalf. If you are not sure how and what to mention in authtorisation letter, visit typing center near Paki Consulate in Dubai and they'll guide you.

You'll send this leter to pak, and rest its from Pakistan. Sound lenghty but its easy of you follow right approach.
