Hello All ,

What happens to my existing visas / work permits which I may have once(after) I acquire my Canadian citizenship?

Just to add an important note , I am from India and India doesn't allow dual citizenship. So I am curious to know what would happen to all of my existing Tourist/work visas which I have in my Indian passport.

You will get the passport back after cancellation as per the website hence you should not have any issue in using valid visas.
Surely the country issued the visa should be recognizing the valid visas even if its on old passport. Check with your visa country.

"The Indian passport would be cancelled and returned to the passport holder along with the requisite certificate for future reference. "
