Exisitng visit visa and apply new super visa

Hello All,

I need an advise -

My mother(in india) has visit visa until DEC 2015 and her passport is expiring on DEC 2015 as well.
I was thinking to renew her passport and apply super visa so she can get 10 years and stay 2+ years in Canada.

If I apply for super visa and if that will be reject will it impact her existing visit visa ?

or its better she will come to Canada with renewed passport and apply extension here in Canada ?

What all the chances of rejecting super visa while she has valid visit visa ?

Even with super visa, it's not guarantee that she would be able to stay 2+ years in Canada. Impossible for anyone to say what your chances are.
