Excess Funds over minimum for EE application.

Hi Guys,

I want to know is it ok to state in your applicatoin to for canda PR EE that you will bring CAD13,500 to canada? Is that amount ok ? - I know its just above the min required, so I wanted to know if that is ok. This application is for myself only

Anything above the minimum is fine as long as you have proof of those funds. There's no upper limit.

You just need to show POF above which they asked for (CAD 12, 650). I think You are good

Hmm, I thought they take into account currency fluctuation and transfer charges , so to keep an amount above the min required

Use these websites to confirm that your funds are above the minimum. I saw a message from a CIC officer somehwere on this forum that confirms that they use both to check.
