Ever get an email that your application has been updated, but then it hasn't?

I just got an email that my application has been updated and to log into my account, but when I did nothing had changed? (and no new messages).

Is it just a glitch?

not a glitch....I think it indicates that somebody is doing something in your application...opening it up...looking at it...anything....
don't know the official name for this but we call it ghost mail in this forum...
