Hi All,

I am going to be primary applicant for CEC under NOC B, my spouse is a 3rd year PhD candidate in Engineering in UBC.

1. Will I get any point for her 2 years Research Assistant Experience?

2. We didn’t visit our home country during our staying in Canada. Do we need to get police verification again from home country?

Thanks in advance.

1. NO, any experience while in Study Permit in Canada cannot be counted toward any Skilled Canadian work experience, 100% sure.
2. Unless you've been in Canada for 10 years, YES. It clearly states that you need PC for any country in which you've lived for 6 or more continuous months in the last 10 years. So most likely the answer is YES.
