Etobicoke For Further Review

My Spousal sponsorship application was transferred to Etobicoke for further review in mid to end December which was about a month or so after my wife got approved to Sponsor me. My question is how long is it taking the Etobicoke office to at least start looking @ the application?

Atleast one year before they will contact you...not good.
