Not wanting to appear negative but do you have a backup plan given the date you are flying and you may have been referred for a secondary review which for some people has gone for a few weeks. Do you have anything that you declared on the application that could have filtered off your application for scrutiny ?Y16v said:My experience is:

At least we are flying 22 December.
the process that is supposed to work is that if you do not have an approved ETA you should be denied checkin and not even make it to Canada. The airlines are supposed to check each passengers authority to travel whether that is a current passport or an ETA.Y16v said:One more question I am travelling from uk. In the check in counter do they answer me about eta?
If I land in Canada without eta or application in progress what is gone happen?
The airline should ask/confirm your eTA, if you're lucky enough not being asked/checked or you can manage to convince them based in your LMIA when landing in Canada I think doesn't matter the eTA, you just need to apply for WP at the border, but note the same reason for your eTA delay can affect your WP application at the border.Y16v said:One more question I am travelling from uk. If you were escorted to the aircraft door by CBSA then for sure that would be on the system even if you turned around voluntarily it would likely still be registered as an entry refusal if that is what you are saying here. Keep in mind many government departments are now closed for the holidays so anything that is not standard that needs a human review may well be on hold now. Doesn't apply to CBSA or any other border control organisation of course but they are not responsible for processing ETA applications.Y16v said:I don't have yet a wp. I have only the lmia approval.
Also from the last time I don't have anything.
I don't know is it possible they don't keep records I don't think so. The officer escorted me until the aircraft door. I had left from Calgary again by air.
I think they ll decide soon it's dayv7 tommorow....
You don't know? Seriously? From your previous posts, you were found to be working illegally in Canada, ordered to leave and issued an Exclusion Order.Y16v said:ok I had a work permit denied 2 years ago but I left country voluntarily with my ticket.
I don't know ...
