Hi! I have a working holiday visa and have been in Canada since November 2016, I did not need to apply for an eTA when I arrived however I am going in holiday and from what I read I will need an eTA to get back into the country. The cic website hasn't been helpful as some information says it's included with my visa; If you received your initial work permit on or after August 1, 2015, you already have an eTA. We automatically issued it to you when we approved your initial work permit. It’s valid for 5 years or until your passport expires. See your letter of introduction for details.
However I wanted to double check in case I need to apply for one before I leave

1. Go to https://onlineservices-servicesenligne.cic.gc.ca/eta/applicationQuery?lang=en&_ga=2.254409548.55519760.1533581231-662066070.1515483461 and check to see if you have a valid ETA.
