eTA stuck on Not Started

Hi, 10 days ago I applied for an eTA because in 2 weeks I will travel
through Canada to reach the USA, but my eTA is stuck on 'Not Started' since then and I never received any email from IRCC.
I thought i made an error so i applied for another eTA but the same thing happened.
I'm applying from Italy and I have no criminal records, my eSTA for the USA was approved in less than 30 minutes but now i risk to lose my flight because of this.
Has anyone ever had the same problem?

Nothing you can do but raise a webform. Instructions in the link. Don’t apply again. If it doesn’t get approved change flights to be a direct flight to US.

Unfortunately I won't be able to change my flight, but I will try to send the webform and hope I won't lose all the money I spent for my trip to the US

IRCC does state not to buy an airfare until approved. Hopefully it works out.
