Does the immediate family (having visitors visa) of Work permit holders need eTA to travel to Canada?
I am a work permit holder and my dependants are having Vistor visa. We are planning to travel from India to Canada. Does my dependants need an eTA and how to apply for it?
When I tried applying for an eTA, I am getting below message from the webform.
Based on your answers, you cannot apply for an eTA. You may need a visa or other type of travel document to travel to Canada.

If their passports are not visa-exempt, they need a visa and not an eTA.

Your dependants have visitor visas so you don’t need eTAs (which they aren’t eligible for anyways).
