Hi All, I'm wondering if anybody can shed some light on a situation.
I'm due to fly into Toronto from the UK on the 28th July 2016. I applied for an eTA but it is currently in progress.
I declared a DUI conviction from 2002 which I assume is what is holding up my application. I completed a case specific enquiry today providing more information and declaring I had visited Canada in 2012.
I see my options are as follows:
1) Don't fly and loose my airline ticket
2) Take advantage of the fact that I can travel without an eTA - Air Transat have confirmed this
I'm worried that if I do fly and the application is denied whilst I am travelling, I'll be refused entry in Toronto and I'll have to get a flight back home....
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
