Hi. My mother-in-law is Mexican. She got an Eta on February, which was cancelled on Feb29 (when all Mexicans got their eTA cancelled). She had previous eTA's even before this one, and even been in Canada visiting us two times, last time on March 2023.

On March 2, she applied for a new eTA, But she hasn't got any response ever since. Using the eTA status tool says "We received your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you". (She has a valid US Visa, and no problems at all).

It is supposes to get an answer or reply within 72 hours, but it has been more than 10 days. Is there something to do about it?

Thanks!

The IRCC site says it can take several days, not hours. Wait another week and then raise a webform.
