I applied for a visa waiver for my mother, a national of Taiwan, on Thursday morning (10 April 2025). It has now been over 72 hours since online application, not counting the weekend. I never received any email confirmation of the application submitted, however, I did receive an emailed receipt of the $7 paid.

Due to the delay, departure from a US airport to Vancouver has been cancelled and we now wait for approval.

Is there a number at Immigration Canada that I can call to verify that we are in process with this?

I am concerned that no email confirmation was received and the eTA may not be in process, especially since it has been over 72 hours.

Usually if over 72 hours then non routine as something was flagged. Assume she has the correct type of passport.

She needs to send in a form.

Can you confirm that you applied directly through the IRCC site and not through an intermediary?
