ETA and COPR

Hi Guys,
I have been issued with COPR in the UK and will be travelling next month to Canada. I know the IRCC website clearly says you do not need to have an ETA to travel but I have read some horror stories presenting themselves at the airport where the airline will not allow boarding without an ETA.

I applied for my dependants ETA yesterday and included their UCI number. I was a little concerned as I didn't want to upset anything within the IRCC system. Anyway they were all approved a few hours later.

I have just checked the status of my wifes and my ETA's. The one we had from a year ago is showing as cancelled as we no longer meet the requirements. I can only assume this is because we were approved for a work permit just a few weeks ago and they issued a new ETA. I then checked the ETA they issued at the time the work permit was approved and there is no record of it. The system said the details are not recognised. I copied and pasted, so I know the number is correct.
Should I just apply for a new one? I just checked the childrens status and they're are all showing as live and valid.

Just really don't want any issues at the airport so thought it would be safer to just have an ETA anyway. I know that once you are a landed immigrant, you no longer qualify for an ETA but as I have not landed, I should be able to get one in the same way as my children shouldn't I?

Any help I would be grateful for.
