esl for extention of study permit

hello
i came to canada after i finish my highschool in india. due to some problems i couldn't finish my course canada. now my Ielts is expired and i went to college to get addmission. they told me to do esl first. but my permit is going to expire end of this november. just wanted to know if i can get the extension of study permit on the bases of ESL course?

It will probably be challenging to get an extension given you didn't finish your previous studies in Canada. I think you're going to have to write a very strong letter explaining why you feel you will be successful in your studies this time.
