I know my mom's date of birth. On my birth certificate my mom's year of birth is 1949. This is the year i have been using, even when i filed as a skilled worker. After submitting the parent sponsorship application in May 2010 I just realized that my mom has been using her year of birth as 1950. She also has an ID card that state her year of birth as 1950. My dad is the principal application whereas my mom is the accompanying spouse. . What should i do with this continuous error that i have making. Is there anyway out? Should i get an attestation from my country of birth stating that there is an error on my birth certificate on my mom's date of birth and submit it together when they are ready to submit their permanent resident application if i am approved as a sponsor? Thanks so much for your contribution.

i wouldnt worry about it so much as if immigration finds it they will go by her birth certificate anyway. After the process is done and you want to change it then i would wait till its finalized. Its not likely they will notice and if they do they may contact you on it or they may just go on her birth certificate.

You just ignore it. CIC will be recording her date of birth which will be shown in the application/or documents filed by your father.
