Error in submitting PR application

Hello All,

I'm very worried about the status of my application which I happened to submit yesterday i.e. 12th Mar 2016.

The CIC portal had technical issues for over 48 hrs as a result of which any details entered pertaining to work experience, residential addresses, travel history, or even passport number, weren't visible even after hitting the 'save & exit' icon.

Finally 8 hrs prior to the deadline, the portal started functioning, not great however manageable.

The problem here is with my educational documents (certificates as well as credentials), I also included my IELTS as well as e-TEF (french) credentials, however, I totally forgot my WES ECA report. I only realized an hour after my payment was processed and application was sent.

Also, under Immigration History & Citizenships, even though I have a valid Canada business visa till July 2017 (scanned copy of which is included in the complete passport file that has been uploaded on the CIC portal) and have disclosed my past travel details to Canada, I see that I've selected 'NO' against 'Has XXX ever applied to Citizenship and Immigration Canada before?

Now I'm confused as well as worried if they would reject my application for these two reasons.

Could you please suggest as to what can be done to repair these errors?

Does CIC contact you in such instances, for any verification or requirement of the document?

Send CSE and include your ECA with it.
Don't worry it's normal. They will attach ECA to your file. You can send as many CSE as you want in case you want something else too to be attached to your file.

For the second part write a Letter of Explanation and add your UCI number in the letter and send another CSE.

Once they attach these to your file they will send you a confirmation email.

Was slightly freaked out especially with the whole system downtime craze right around the deadline.

Don't take such chances again. Make sure you do it well before the deadline in future. CIC website can go down anytime.

Trust me, all my documents including PCC, Reference Letters from employers in cities in don't reside in anymore, were all ready 20 days before the deadline.

Basically I trusted my counselor and expected things to get over sooner.

But I i'll be extra careful henceforth and chase them for any steps in future.
