Error in entry date COPR

Hi guys,

I just received my COPR from Ottawa. But there is an error in the original entry and last entry dates. They are both the same and don't correspond to the right dates that I declared in my original application.

I called cic many times and every time I got a different answer!!

Should I worry about that? Do I have to send it back to Ottawa, or I can go for the landing?

Hi. You should call CIC first and ask them to correct all the dates. Don't go with your landing with wrong dates. This will pose a problem for you.

Either u shuld visit ur Canadian High Commision office(CHC) or send back all the documents for correction but do not land with incorrect information.

I called cic many times. One go the agents told me that I can correct it at the landing, and another one told me I cannot! I feel confused.
I anyone had the same experience, it would be great to share it!

If your application was processed at Ottawa, then email the office informing them about the mistake in your COPR. You can use this email address : CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca .

Yes, it can be corrected there. If you look in your COPR there is a remark section at the bottom that's where the officer will put the correct date when you land. Good luck!
