EOI- SWM: How many years of work experience do you have in the past 5 years

I have 2 years 8 months work experience from my home country and 6 months work experience in Canada. Should I add both to get 3 years?

Hi could you please help me with my question? I have two jobs in the last five years. The first job (in my home country) is 1.5 years and the second (in Canada) is 0.5 years. Would my work experience be counted as 1 year ( first job counted as 1 years and second one counted as 0 year) or two years (first job 1.5 years + second job 0.5 years)? Thank you in advance!
