Hi
My details
Did BSc Nursing in 2005 - 2009 batch fromI ndia. Got RN registration from the Nursing Council.
Completed one year internship in 2010
Worked as RN from 2010-2011.
Did post basic diploma in critical care nursing (one year regular programme) and got that added to my RN registration.
Before moving to Alberta, Canada on PR in Nov 2012, applied for RN exam with CNO. Immediately on arrival I appeared for Registration exam, but failed as I have not got any idea about the exam.
There after I was busy settling down for a long time. I got my nnas advisory report in July 2016 for LPN as Somewhat Comparable.
When applied to CLPNA, I was asked to complete any approved programme, as I didn't have current practice hours.
Also I got nnas advisory report for RN to CNO and CARNA not comparable in Nov 2018. I haven't applied to the RN bodies till now as I don't have current practice hours.
I got Canadian citizenship last year.
I'm worried what to do next.
I am planning to go to my country for my current practice hours where I have a valid RN registration, and try later.
If I do so will I be able to proceed with my current NNAS report?
How long the same will be valid in CARNA?
Is there any use in doing so?
Waiting for your advice..
Thanks.
I request your advice
