Entry to canada

Hi everyone I need to know something. I am coming to canada in 10 days with a lmia(cook) and I would like to ask if I ll have any problem in the port of entry because my passport is going to expire in 7 months?
During my sTaylor in Canada I ll refresh the passport thru the embassy.

Ideally most countries refuse to allow entry to anyone holding passport that expires in less than three or six months but Canada does not enforce such rule and you have 7 months to go so you are good to travel.

That is true, you are good to go with more than 6 month.

No probably WP expiry will be same as your Passport validity.

You will be issued a work permit valid up to the validity of your passport. Once you renewed your passport, You will have to request an extension of your work permit on the later date before it expires . The extension expiry will depend on your contract in most cases work permit is 2 years(Expert please correct if wrong).
