Entry to Canada (Applying PR or TWP)

Hi All,

My apologies for sounding too naive. I tried to search for my above mentioned subject in the forum but no success. I am from India , working as a Business Analyst in top IT company. I am interested in working in Canada. May be part time to experience Canadian life and culture and then may be apply for PR in case it goes well. Now my query is whats the better way to achieve the same :

Option 1: Apply for PR -> Someone mentioned you would be given health benefits from day 1 which is a big issue for non citizens as medical expenses just like any other country might be troublesome for a non citizen.
Option 2 : Apply for TWP

I would like to get pros and cons for the same. Also guys back there in India who have " Did that Been there" I would really appreciate if you could suggest a good immigration consultant , applying by self can be quite daunting for an amateur like me.

1. To apply for PR you have to have at least one years experience in the list of "29" occupations http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp#list and 67 points, Or have an approved Employment option from a Canadian employer.
2. To get a work permit, you have to have an approved Labour Market Opinion from a Canadian employer that was advertised and there were no Canadians or PRs available/qualified for the position and the salary and working conditions were equal to the area where the job was located. If approved, then you could apply for a work permit.
3. Check www.cic.gc.ca to see if you qualify, if you don't, a consultant wouldn't do you much good.
