Hello guys,

I recently received my CoPR through EE. If i visit any other country beside my country of residence and citizenship, then will I have any issues entering into Canada from there?

I am pretty sure I can enter Canada from any country, but just wanted to make sure and double check before i travel.

Any response will really be appreciated. Thanks!

You can only enter by road from US by showing your copr. The copr cannot be used for any other type of travel. If you are flying in from somewhere else you cannot enter based on just copr. To gain entry either you need your PR card or if you don't have that then your need to request PR travel document while you are outside Canada. only then can you enter Canada by air or from any other Country. Hope that helps.

That's all true if the OP has landed and hasn't received a PR card yet.

However, if the OP has just received COPR and hasn't landed yet, they can travel anywhere their passport takes them, and land in Canada via air from any country.

Sorry, you're right. I was making the assumption that they have landed and not yet received the PR card.

@smash1984 by CoPR that’s what i meant that i haven’t landed yet and just received it, so i should be able to enter Canada from any country.
Thanks again for the response.
