Hello,

I am flying to Buffalo to get my Canadian immigration stamped. I am going from India. My question is that what do i tell the US immigration at the port of entry (purpose of visit)? Is there a possibility that they would deny entry inthe US?

P.S. I have a 10 years multiple entry tourist visa and i have already been to the US once.

Thanks.

I really don't know the answer to this but I can't imagine why they would deny you entry just because you want to go to Buffalo and get a visa stamped. It's not like Canada is the enemy of the US or anything like that.

Do you really have to tell them exactly why you are coming? Will they ask that precisely?

I think the simple answer to that is tell them you are visiting... You already have a visa to enter the US and you've visited before. So, just say you are on vacation visiting... Technically, that's true...

Guys,

I am mailing my passport in for stamping (NEw york won't do in person stamping)

I was thinking about entering canada as a tourist and mailing from there. HAs anyone tried that?
