I live in Michigan and I'm a US citizen. My parents are visiting from Mexico and they are Mexican citizens. They entered the US with their "B1/B2 Visa / Border Crossing Card" and I-94. Can they use their US issued "B1/B2 Visa / Border Crossing Card" and I-94 document to visit Canada for a day? We would enter Canada by land through Windsor. Thank you!

1. They need valid passports.

I believe that they should be able to visit for a day with no problems, subject of course to CBSA discretion. See https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/travel-voyage/td-dv-eng.html This assumes that they have valid passports.
