Entering Canada with a Polish passport - admissibility and length of stay

Hello,

Perhaps I'm worried over nothing, but I figured it doesnt hurt to ask here :) I'll be flying to Europe this coming June to meet with my girlfriend, spend my vacation there and then both of us coming back to Canada together. I am a Canadian citizen, she is Polish (has a bio metric passport). I've been to Europe a few times visiting, now we figured it would be time for her to come visit. She has never been to Canada. I've read pretty much all I could find on the requirements for her to enter the country. As a holder of a biometric passport she is allowed to stay in Canada for up to 6 months and does not require a visitor's visa. So I booked the flight to Canada and a return one to Warsaw in early November - total stay in Canada will be under 5 months. She will be staying with me, she will be returning back as she has her parents and her brother there. She does not have a criminal record or any illnesses. Now, whats bothering me is that theoretically (I think) all bases are covered, but nonetheless I am worried that the border agent might refuse her entry or ask her to leave earlier than her return flight is. Mainly I'm worried that the 5mo stay time might seem suspicious, which might sound silly since maximum of 6mo is allowed.

Anyways, does anyone have any similar experience or any insights into this?

Thank you!

Don't worry about it. She will be fine to enter Canada. Just make sure that she doesn't bring all of her belongings because border patrol will be suspicious if they see all her things and may assume that she is establishing herself in Canada.
Your gf will simply say that she is visiting Canada, you, your family, visiting different provinces, enjoying the Canadian summer, etc... and that you will support her financially, with accommodation, and hopefully she can say that she has 2,000 to 5,000 EUR to support her trip. Also make sure she has your home address, phone number (details), so that she can say exactly where she'll be staying. Just be honest and natural. It'll be fine.
If you have more questions just ask.
