Entered my full name where only family name was required. What to do next?

Hi,

I by mistake entered my full name as my family name.

That is I entered "FirstName MiddleName Surname" as my family name in Tourist visa application.
Didn't realized that I just had to enter the Surname as my family name in the application.


I have already raised a ticket for name correction but no response in last 1 week.

I have already paid the application and biometric fees and as per the "Biometric Instruction letter" I should give biometric in a week.

What do next? Can somebody please guide. Should I go for biometric without waiting for name correction or should I wait for name to get corrected? But I have only one week in my hand.

IMO, you can proceed with the biometrics even if there's no reply.

And then if you get a passport request, include a letter of explanation to request for the name correction.

Basically, you have to follow how your name is written in your passport.
