I have entered USA from Canada on my US Legal Permanent Resident card but at the US POE they cancelled my US PR and kept me under removal process stating that I over stayed in Canada for about 3 months more than regular permitted 1 year.
Having stated that now I wish to go back to Canada just with my valid Canadian Work Permit (valid till Sep 2011) and I' have a Indian Passport. I' lived in US only from past 2 months and waiting for my Immigration Court date, and US POE given me a temporary paper US GC valid till Apr 2011.
So is a valid Canadian Work Permit (also have Job in Canada) is enough to enter to Canada from US or Do i need to have a TRV..because my US PR is under cancellation process. My Lawyer told that If I leave US they consider it as voluntary departure and it wont hurt anything as it is a civil case.
Please suggest me if some one/acquittance encounter the same before or if the Canadian POE guys stop me will it be treated as illegal entry.
Please help.
Thanks,
Rajiv Khanna
