Dear All Seniors

Me and my friend applied thru a consultant for Canada immigration, the consultant sent us paper that the file has been approved at the stage 1 and that we have to submit the application forms and supporting documents alongwith IELTS results and police certificates to the local high commission, now the thing is that office of the consultant is shut and we do not know what paper or forms he has submitted already .

however we have all the supporting documents with us and we have also passed the IELTS scores , we both are financial accountants and have around 10 years of experience also got PCC with us but do not really know what was submitted ( i mean which forms were submitted earlier and which forms to be submitted in canadian high commision LONDON)

i think the paperwork we have been ablt to obtain from the agents is pretty much the same as the information we submitted to the agents and we are able to obtain the job responsibility form he has filled and also the category code he has claimed on the NOC we applied in march 2010 and got a letter with reference number from NS dated 3rd of May.

The last documents we had from the agents is the filled in job responsibilties and all other blank forms, now we wish to send all this to CHC london and also can you advice us which documents do i need to submit for claiming the points for work experience , an experience letter from the employer on his letter head is sufficient or shall i submit original payslips and couple of bank statements also...

The agents have used 0111 as the NOC code , do we still have to use the same code or shall we change to 1122 while submitting to CHC LONDON

we will appreciate all the help possible as our 120 days finishing next week

Many Thanx

Send all the documents along with a covering letter that you are withdrawing the services of your consultant, all future correspondence should be directed to you.

Do you have the original letter from the CHC asking you to submit all the docuemnts?

You don't even need the origional letter if you have the reference no. Just submit all the documents as per check list. explain the situation in a cover letter, and withdraw the services of your agent as earlier advised.

Normally copy of the letter (first AOR) is sent with the full documents, but if you don't have the copy of first AOR/email then just mention your reference no and explain in cover letter.

Good Luck :)

Your Experience letter is a must, Original Payslips can help and are optional
Bank statement is must for POF. Please check london document checklist at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/E37023.pdf
Use the same old 0111 as your NOC code, if that is the right fit as new rules do not apply to your case

Send as many documents possible. In your covering letter explain your situation BLAME EVERYTHING ON YOUR AGENT, and request for some more time to arrange for your employment record.

Mention in your letter that your agent delayed the information to you and then ran away.

At the same time be apologetic to the whole situation and request for the consideration(DOn't plead)

Try tht your application is atleast 70-80% complete.

Write a good cover letter explaining what you can not provide and why and what is the supplementary documentation

Like for Birth Certificate you can use Passport/Class 10th Certificate

Make sure you make two copies of your application, one for you and one for CHC.

For Birth Certificate you need an affidavit from your parents, or the best thing would be to contact the local muncipality where you were born, they will issue you the Birth Certificate. I asked my Uncle in Ahmedabad and he got me the Long Birthcertifcate.

Your Application dosen't get refused, coz of Birth Certificates CHC will ask you for them once they have approved your application, but you can start the process now. Include your Marriage Certificate also.

Covering Letter is a must. Keep them short, make two if possible. In the first you are cancelling the services of your AGent. In the second explaining your situation due to the AGents Misconduct.

All the Best to You mate!! Keep Us upto date

Its advisable to send atleast 12 Months Payslip, if you are in the UK, send as many P60s possible.

Proof of funds: Show only what is needed 4 members in a family $25K.

You can show as many bank statements you like.

Write Clearly on those copies the conversion value from the local currency into CAD on the date you are preparing the documents mention the source where you got the conversion rate from.

i.e Bank Statement shows 10,000 GBP

Value in CAD : 15000 as on 20th August 2010 Source: CurrencyFX.COm
