enquiry about class 2173

Hi Friends,

I am currently a Master's Student in USA, and i am planning to apply for Canadian PR. I have 2 years of work ex as software engg and 6 months internship ex as intern software developer. i have following questions:

1. my job duties are listed in 2173 category and its not listed in the 38 occupation list. will i be able to get PR if i apply under this category?
2. can i apply while doing MS? if i put education as masters only then i am able to get a total of 68 points. is is possible to apply on the basis of Masters Degree and then producing the degree after completing it.
3. how much money is needed to show for skilled worked category.

Any sort of help will be highly appreciated.

1. Your experience is not in the list of "38" then you cannot apply for PR under FW 1
2. You need either work experience in Canada or an approved AEO to apply under FW2/3
3. You could look at the PNP programs.
4. You can only count completed degrees.
5. Look under settlement funds at www.cic.gc.ca
