english traslation of birth certificate and M,B.B,S degree

My child's birth certificate issued by govt. department is both in english and urdu (native language) .I mean both languages are printed on the same single certificate. Same is with my M,B.B,S degree.
My question is:
Do I have to get a notorised english translation of birth certificate and degree ?

You are absolutely right qenawy. In order to buy peace of mind I will most definitely get the translation done. It was just for the sake of sharing experiences that i asked this question in the forum.
