Hello all,

I submitted my PR application last week (April 5) under the Express Entry Program. I have a PhD from the USA with an English diploma to prove it, and a Bachelor's degree from another country in Latin. In my application, I only submitted an ECA for my highest degree which is the PhD but not for my Bachelors. In addition, I supplied (1) an English diploma for PhD and (2) the Latin diploma for my Bachelors with no translation into English AND an accompanying transcript in English stating that I received a Bachelor's degree.

Now my CRS score includes 150 points for my PhD Education and another 50 points for Skill Transferability- Education for having two post-secondary degrees. I honestly did not supply an English translation of my Bachelor's diploma because I thought I would only be assessed for my PhD degree.

Does anyone have a similar situation? And do you think they will reject my application as "INCOMPLETE" because I did not provide an English translation for a bachelors degree diploma? I honestly believed I only needed an ECA for my highest degree and since that already means I had a bachelor's degree as well.

I am so worried now.

Thanks for the responses.

Hi There, I am in the same boat, I only have a link from the university's website with the translation, just wondering did it work out for you? Thanks for sharing your experience

Those 50 extra points are for either a combination of education + language proficiency or education + Canadian work experience. It is not for your bachelor degree or for having two post-secondary degrees.
