This might be a dumb question...
My friend and I were talking, her husband is going for citizenship so I have been helping her with forms and such. We came across the statement of needing a high school diploma to prove that her husband can speak/write English. I had to pause for a minute as my husband has a GED, not a diploma as he was forced to drop out (due to the fact his family was struggling for money at the time, he had to get a job). So I'm curious, does a GED work or will we have to shell out 400-500 dollars just so someone can say that a man from Nashville, TN speaks English?! ???
Immigration, you are too confusing! :-\
