Hopefully someone with experience will help out, but here are a couple of links that may be useful.

This link contains the CIC questionnaire to establish kind of language proof you will need to provide:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/citizenship/language.asp

CELPIP General-LS and CELPIP General are the IELTS alternates on this CIC list of authorised third party test results:

Take the CELPIP-LS. Its a one hour test and if you are even ok with English speaking and listening, you should be ok.
I do highly recommend that you do also buy couple of practice tests once you sign up for CELPIP-LS.
Sign up ASAP as this test is popular for citizenship:

Good luck!

Plus, what i feel is if i go for CLEPIP-LS there is fee of $200 so instead of this if i go for CLB Canadian Language Benchmarks will not be so expensive.

So what will you say.

At this point don't get stuck with the expense on the exam - just pick one and take it and pass it. $100 here and there will not matter in the longer run.... just my 2 cents
I personally found CELPIP-LS to be very doable within the limited timeframe I had and I think anybody with basic proficiency can pass it.
I have not looked into CLB so cannot compare it to CELPIP-LS and hence cant recommend between both.
To summarize, just pick one that you think you will be comfortable and act on it - dates get booked pretty quick for these exams.
Hope this helps
Good luck!
